Ten years ago, when metal and PVC, two seemingly incompatible materials, were first combined, many were skeptical of their market prospects. How could the coldness of metal and the flexibility of PVC be balanced? Could the adhesion of the two materials meet the durability requirements of crafts? Today, looking back at the development of metal PVC crafts, a development path focused on quality has transformed it from a niche experiment into an industry benchmark.
In the early stages of the industry's development, leading companies established the principle of "strict material selection." In order to find suitable metal and PVC raw materials, procurement teams traveled to over 20 production areas domestically and internationally, conducting hundreds of tests on the purity of the metal and the environmental standards of the PVC. Taking PVC raw materials as an example, the medical-grade PVC ultimately selected by the company not only meets the EU RoHS environmental standards, but its temperature resistance is also 30% higher than that of ordinary industrial-grade PVC, ensuring the safety and service life of the crafts from the source.
The accumulation of experience in the production process is the company's "invisible asset." In early production, the bonding of metal and PVC often resulted in problems such as bubbles and detachment. The technical team spent 8 months developing a "low-temperature hot-melt bonding process," which, by precisely controlling temperature and pressure, increased the bonding strength of the two materials to 1.5 times the industry standard. Today, this process has been included in industry white papers and serves as a learning model for small and medium-sized manufacturers. With the expansion of production scale, the company has innovatively introduced a "modular production management system," which decomposes the 12 processes such as cutting, shaping, and bonding into standardized modules, each module equipped with dedicated quality inspectors to ensure that the error of each product does not exceed 0.1 mm.
